I have been sewing alot here lately, because I am avoiding the inevitable end of school tests and studying and what not. Don't worry I am studying, just in small increments with lots of distractions. I have been taking orders these past two weeks, on holiday shirts and vinyl monogrammed stuff. I added things to my etsy shop. After my test Tuesday I am through for awhile and I have almost all of my Christmas shopping completely done (online)! So feel free to request some things. I have time now.

Vinyl examples

Here are a few items my mom and I worked on over the weekend. These are great for teachers gifts or people who are hard to buy for. These are just examples most anything can be personalized. Plates, Cups, Vases, Candles, Soap dispensers, bottles, Olive oil dispensers, buckets, candy jars. The list is endless.  Most items are done in the Curlz font, but can be made in a more traditional or script font. I will send out more examples as I make them up.

Thanks for starting to place your orders. I have 5 bag orders, and will be placing an order soon to order some more. This summer I will be doing as much as I can because I don't know how hectic my school schedule will  be in the fall. So everyone be thinking about back to school, things, fall, halloween, thanksgiving, and even Christmas. Several of the bags I am working on are Christmas gifts.

Up and Running Soon

Starting Mid May I will begin taking orders for the Summer. I plan on sewing this Summer only, so don't be surprised if I cover all the Seasons at once. It might be the only time I have to do them. Who knows what next semester of nursing school will be like.

Just before Mid May I will post new designs and ideas for sewing. If interested start gathering your shirts, towels, pillowcases, or whatever you need sewn.

I will also be working on my vinyl for gifts and car decals.

I am making these crayon rolls. They are super cute for boys or girls. I am giving them to my little cousins, and using them in stockings and for little gifts. They hold 16 crayons. Fabric choices are limitless. Some have 3 different, some just 2. They can have a big button, little button. Ric Rac around the edges for girls. So easy to throw in your purse for kids to play with and the crayons don't fall out and they don't mark up the inside of your purse.

snowmen

Well the most popular is the snowman. Here are some different versions I just finished for an order. They have been big sellers for adults as well. I am working on about 6 ordered on black shirts for adults. So excited about finally getting to do one for boys. It just took a different color shirt and boy fabric. I will try to keep up my blog with my orders.

I am doing the curlz font now in my applique. It turned out so cute on these two shirts. The boys pillowcase in a simple font with primary colors.

something else I'm excited about is working with the vinyl letters. I can cut most fonts. The cake carrier above is in curlz font with the black dots all over. This makes a great gift. I will be monogramming candles, candle holders glass ornaments, basically anything black. I can make car decals in the monogram. The vinyl letters jazz up any gift for Christmas. I will be posting some other things later.

Orders, New Stuff, and variations on Old

I have been shipping out and filling orders here. But sometimes I get in such a hurry to get it to the customer I forget to take pictures of it. I wish sometimes I had the nerve to contact some of these people and say snap some photos for me. But anyways this is what I have on me right now, and tomorrow they will be out of my house. Can't say that I will be sad to see them go. The Santa is new, the stocking is new, and the rest are some vatiations on some of my previous designs.

My store will pay for Christmas this year, but I will have to consider how much orders I am going to do because SURPRISE I got into nursing school. Its night school a few nights a week, so I'm not going to quit completely. I love it tooo much. I can safely say that my work is unique, original. I don't download some embroidery template and you won't see my stuff in every boutique shop in every town. That gets old looking at the same thing just in a different store. Some of my best work comes from my customers request. I take on some crazy challenges and I love it. I'm not crazy about mass producing a single design. I would like to make each one different, sometimes it doesn't always happen.

Orders

I am almost caught up with some orders, not completely out of the woods. I was able to do a couple of Christmas shirts on some colored shirts and they turned out really well. I put my sample shirts all on white, but the colored looks oh so much better. I have done alot of adult shirts here lately and I appreciate those orders. Adults can be fun and festive!
